my sricam works fine, got it setup with no problems. When i disconnect the cat-5 network cable it will not work in the wireless mode. Says camera is offline. Is there a way to get this cam to work without a network connection.:sad2: The place where the camera is going does not have a network connection and i wanted to use it as wireless cam only.
Thanks
i also found out from my bluetooth program the camere is not sending out any signals. Why i wonder bcuse it can not pick it up at all.

I could be wrong but I don't think the camera is Bluetooth, it is only Wireless as far as internet requirements.

Again, when the product is in the return window, returning it is THE solution. That solution is EXTREMELY helpful as the user wont have doorstop to deal with. Dont like the answer, move on.
Oh - I ended up getting the sricam to work quite nicely. Problem was related to using a dual-band router. Thanks for all your helpful suggestions.

The camera is still junk with crappy image and firmware... If you had to disable dual band or make any sacrifices on your wifi then it's not working properly... Sricam is crap and should never be used... Ever...

I found something interesting. My SRICAM runs fine on my BI 64bit computer, but not on my 32bit computer. I get the Err: 8000274d(refused; check IP address and port)0 on BI.

Works great on the 64bit version. I even exported and imported the settings back and forth between the 64bit and 32bit. Only works on 64bit.

Also the 64bit computer is the one I set up the SRICAM with so maybe it has something to do with that?

EDIT:

OF all miracles, it is now working on my 32bit computer. I rebooted it and the SRICAM is now working. I have not rebooted my 32bit computer in a week or so and since installing the SRICAM.

Hi all
So i just bought a Sricam. Its working well on my Smartphone, and on my Tablet.
Smartphone it works with Left - Right, Up Down, and zoom no problems, and also the Presets 1 - 5.
Tablet it works with left - right, up Down, and zoom, But as yet their is NO Software Update for the Presets.
So lets come back to the PC. Windows 10 64bit using I-Spy it works OK, but can't get the Presets or movements to work. Save photo works.
For those of you that have been at it longer than me, here is how its working by me.
I-Spy Software and its running in RTSP mode. I could NOT get it to work using http ( maybe someone can tell me about this )
Picture is good ( well good enough for me ) and zoom also OK for what i need. Night pictures are also OK.
The next Question from me is why when i go 20km and log in over my friends network the camera say ( Sricam off line )
I am using my Smartphone and Tablet to try this.
I have it running on my WiFi at home no problem. ( no lan cable ) is connected. > Only by first setup.

OK. I managed to find a Programm other that Ispy and it works good by me on Windows 10.
As of now i couldent find anything that found the camera or worked with all PTZ
This Programm seems to do it all and i must say it found my camera Quick. ( that what other programmes didn't )
So if you would like to try it on your cam here's the AD.

So for all those that have a sricam i can now tell you mine is working well.
I am on Holiday in Sardinia and can call up my cam from the Smartphone dead easy.
You will as i have said before have to set up ypor router to Port Forwarding.
This took me some time but it works fine.
I used the app from Sricam and it takes a few sec to login but it work OK.
I have the full 360 deg controll and Pan and Tilt.

This thread is not related to blue iris . As far as the webserver tab, you can't enter the cameras ip address there . It simply displays your external IP.

Hello people. would anyone know of a 3d party android app that would support sricam? Default app is not compatible with my tablet (while it works on my phone). Also, is there a way to use these cams over an open wifi?
I know and can confirm they're crap, but would like to find a better use for them than just staying inactive at the closet.

Hello everybody, I have 6 sricam IP66 outdoor wifi bullet cameras. They been working fine for three months, installation and set up went nice and easy. until two weeks ago I notice that the app "android phone" doesn't want to show the cameras when I am at home connected to my wifi network. In order to see the cameras on my phone I have to turn off the wifi and use the cellular network 4g, then I can see them like in remotely way..
Also my NVR and Device viewer sricam software work fine I can see the cameras..
Does this ever happened to any one not be able to see the cameras in your LAN using the android app..????
Any help will be appreciated.. Thanks
