From the pics you've posted, it definitely seems the night vision is as good as the previous generation 4MP cameras.

Obviously not as good at night as the new 2 and 3MP low light hik cameras......but then you would have to give up all that 4k goodness in the day if you went that route. I'm trying to decide which way to go....but am leaning towards these 8MP ones.

I will definitely go with 4k. I can turn on the light anytime. I have 2 LEDs lights.

I don't understand the sellers this 8mp was cheaper then the 5mp and 3mp and 2mp

i can't get face detection to bloody work :(

it does not record to the SD CARD :( or take photos and saves them

What exact model # are these? Im seeking to buy Hikvision here in Cali and unsure which ones to get.

Paul what is the diff between the 2335 and 2385.
Also can you advise on a dvr etc to use with these?

The 3 in the model number is its mega pixel ie 2335 and the 2385 is 8 mega pixels

I haven't used Ali express before but if your in the states look up on eBay Australia with the exchange rate you could get this cheaper I got mine from jk security Justin is a good seller if you email him direct he can do a good price
