Hey everyone,

I purchased a mini dome as shown in the picture. I'm able to hear sound, but unable to speak through the camera. Any suggestions on what I can do? I have gone through all of the settings and I think I have everything correct. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The camera has no speaker...you need to connect a speaker to the camera and to supply power to it..

Ah. I see. So sound is the easiest way to use it. Sounds like a lot of trouble connecting a speaker. Thanks!

I'll look at them. I'm pretty happy being able to mount cameras flush with the ceiling and keeping the cables hidden away. Any suggestions on where to find the speaker that would work best?

two way audio in these cams is half duplex, and generally a waste of time..there are a bunch of threads discussing various speaker and amplifier options...

I was actually looking for this setup too. YouTube and Google didn't help much. Found that Vivotek has such camera which has two-way audio.
