Any way to view the playback interface if a camera breaks or is stolen?

I'm not using a NVR, just the software included on the camera to record motion and snapshots to a SMB share.

Right now I need the camera itself to access those recordings and pictures in any kind of organized way because they are just a mess of directories and 256mb files on the harddrive:

If I can no longer access the camera itself but I still have the harddrive with all the video/pics it has saved, is there going to be anyway for me to go through them like I can with the web interface built into the camera? (this)

I can play those MP4 files with MPC-HC but they are just chunks of hours of video without the search option to go to a specific time of day where you can see motion was captured like you can do in the Hikvision web interface and Android App.

The PIC files must be full of a whole bunch of JPG's in some proprietary format. I have the cameras save a still snapshot every 5 seconds 24 hours a day. I have no idea how to even view those outside of using the hikvision interface.
