I am trying to add a couple of legacy cameras, Axis M3005-V, to my IVMS-4200 setup (v2.6.2.6 build 20170719) but I cannot figure out how to do it.

I have added them as "Third-Party Encoding Devices" in the "Device Manager" and they come up under "Device for Management" but not as "Online Devices". I added each camera using its respective internal IP address, user name & password, "channel no" and "start from" both set to value "1". I have tried setting "Protocol Type" both to "ONVIF" and "Axis". I have also tried three different ports, 80 (HTTP), 443 (HTTPS) and 554 (RTSP) but still to no avail. I can view the cameras live in the browser or any of Axis's apps (e.g. "Axis Companion" on my iPhone) so they work. They all have RTSP Server enabled in their setup menu.

In the "Main View" in IVMS-4200, the Axis cameras show with their correct names in the lower left "Camera" pane as blue folders (rather than yellow folders as for the Hik cams) but if I double-click one or try to drag it to the video wall, I get an error message saying "Camera1_Kitchen Live View Failed. Error Code IVMS-4200.exe(2)" and if I click the little refresh icon next to the blue folder, the error message reads "the third party encoding device only supports transcoded stream".

Any help would be much appreciated.
