I have the 1 to 4, bought for a customer install. POE+ powering it, and tested perfect with 3 cams running IR.

Can I run a Cat 6 from NVR on second floor to first floor, then use the POE switch/splitter, to power 4 IPC's? IS there a POE splitter you recommend? I was going to store the POE splitter in the first floor attic area. Any suggestions?

Hi Matrix1,

I recommend doing what you can to pull the wiring, it will be more reliable.

If you find you can not do this, then definitely try a PoE switch or the PoE extender nbstl68 noted above
