suggestions to access Dahua Startlight via wifi

I'm also interested if it's possible for the camera to send push notifications from this type of setup.

I really dont want to do the whole Nanostation point to point setup because I don't need to stream to an NVR.

If you have power out at your barn, as I'm sure you do, then any number of devices exist that can connect your barn to your Unifi AP. Assuming the AP is indoors (through a wall) you'll want something that operates on 2.4 GHz probably, as this penetrates walls better than 5 GHz. thanks all, so I decided to not do a p2p and go with a unifi ac mesh to create a mesh network since the barn is so close to the ap, i can then use the lan port to connect to the camera. its cheaper this way and can be all controlled via the unifi controller software.
