It's been a while. Wondering if he got a new job, how the new bebe is doing. He's missed around here.

I spoke with @nayr and he is healthy and doing well. He welcomed a newborn baby recently but will be back to the forums soon. He appreciates the concerns and we all are excited to have him back soon!

You know a man is dedicated to something when he quits his other hobbies cold turkey to focus on more important things.

@bp2008, good point.

All:
Threads that @nayr started have over a half million views.
That's my tally of a dozen of his threads, and so it's low.

His contribution is "Legendary"
Like @fenderman, nayr was quick to call BS. To protect readers from mis-information.
And, like fenderman, nayr had a low tolerance for arrogance, lazy newbies (who don't do a some research first), and thin-skinned folks who gripe when they get answers they don't like.
nayr. Legendary. That's apropos.

I'm much smarter now, due to nay's tutelage when I was a green newbie. (and from tutelage by others)
Thanks to everyone who helped me!
Since then, I try to pay it back by helping others here.....

The tearing in that video must be pissing him off seriously.

Dropped frames or something, yeah.
Maybe he was running h.265. That is what mine does on 4.6.3.0. The dreaded black screen finally overtakes the clip. Ken has told me that 4.6.4 will be out soon and hopefully fixes that.

Exactly. There are a number of reasons that various versions of BI would do that but for a Dahua NVR using Dahua cams? Having network issues is my guess, but possibly he was just copying a crapload of stuff over the network at the time. I think he uses a switch rather than running them straight to the NVR.

So it wasn't just me.

The real question on @nayr's video is moobs or boobs on the person in the blue shirt. The first time I watched it small and at lower resolution I thought it was a guy with some serious man boobs but after watching it in HD I'm thinking it was a woman with short hair.
