I wish I knew they were $99! I just bought one from Nelly's also. Wish it was RJ45.

I went with the Nelly's doorbell cam (Hikvision off brand - NSC-DB1 Onvif Compatible Wifi Doorbell 1080P IP Camera W/ 32GB Built-in Storage - Nelly's Security) I got it for $99 a few weeks back. Works great with blueiris, both two way audio and video working good for me. I got tired of waiting for the actual Hikvision one to be released.

No IR issues for me, as I have my porch lights on a zwave switch automated and they are on when it's dark, picture quality is pretty good!
Video samples would be great!

I have one of these - GDS3710, Video Door System- Grandstream Networks works perfectly with Blue Iris for video and Sound whilst also using VOIP to call me when button is pressed.
Could you post some day \ night video and pic samples when you have a chance.

This is an interesting looking product. From reviewing their site, it appears it is really directed toward commercial use, (can open connected doors w access codes or remote trigger and such)and not as small \ pretty as some of the residential units. But I'd consider it for home use if it was solid enough.

Just FYI, I emailed GrandStream a few weeks ago and they have a product discount program for installers \ resellers if anyone is in the business and interested in testing their stuff out for us here. I am not a business owner so I could not apply.

Here was their response to me: "If you are a reseller, installer, system integrator or service provider, we do offer demo units on any of our products through our distribution channel at discounted prices only (roughly 50% discount) without having to return the unit- you basically own it once you get it. For access to this demo program, you need to be registered with us on our ResellerConnect program and have an account with one of our distributors which we can connect you with."

Wish I had known about cheap demo units - I actually own a VOIP company! I have been using this in anger for about a week or so now. Mine is actually on my drive gates so integrates with my alarm system and also the gate opening mechanism etc, though it works that well I am considering buying another one to have at the front door for when I leave the gates open.

Ill go dig up some screen grabs

Here's a view from my new doorbell cam (Nelly's NSC-DB1) I like it. I did have an issue with the first one sent to me having a scratch on the lens but they exchanged it and I'v been happy with it. Good compliment to the rest of my system. I'll be getting a few more of them soon.

Looks good but...Almost everyone's static pics on this site look good. What matters though is how does a video of someone walking by day & night look.
I'm amazed at how nice static pics look of the surroundings from most cameras in general, (not being specific to the doorbell cam), but hen you see a moving video sample and the subject is blurred in motion or face is dark or IR washed out and unusable.

How do videos of people coming \ going in your case look for your set up or other owners of this or other doorbell cameras appear?
Thanks

I like the compact design of the LaView doorbell cam but given all the quirks and issues big and small mentioned in the thread so far even at a $99 coupon price it is not attractive to me.

I have the camera and use it a a group trigger device only.....it fires when told to by another.....works well that way. I was getting false triggers from wi fi issues otherwise......I like it now.
