Red alarm 1 in
Brown alarm in 2 in
Yellow\green alarm ground

23w with IR \ 13 w no ir
Bosch PIR 10 VDC to 15 VDC at 22 mA standby.
V7 Poe 30w

So I am new and trying to figure this out ahead of time..

So , have not metered above wires yet..but I am assuming that
I can take a parallel 2 wires (red and brown) to each PIR. Then take the groind from the pir’s and run them back to the cameras yellow\green. ...

Do I need to run 2 Poe splinters to get power to the PIR?

Looking for schematics or how to...

Thanks

Is this correct?
Thanks

well, so much for thinking I their would be DC power froom those camera wires. Sounds like either I need to
1) Run a POE splitter (20 feet) off camera via rj45 and then out to 2 pir's. Then the Pir's no\nc back to camera
2) Run long cable poe (50 feet) (rj45) wire to the 2 pirs and then the PIR no\nc back to the camera
3) buy a sealevel 120e to pir, then back to BLue iris

Thoughts ?

is there better performance running the PIR's back to the camera, or does BI do a decent enough job with the dio's ? Purpose is to trigger and re-direct PTZ camera outside of default lens view.

Your best bet would be to run a power only (red/black) wire to the camera and PIR. The consumption would probably be too much even for a high capacity splitter.

Most PoE Splitters are only 802.3af this camera uses too much for that and uses 803.2at (aka PoE+).
I wouldn't bother trying a splitter.

Options:
-Run a separate cable to the motion detectors for power, power with a 12v supply indoors. Connect no/nc to camera or input device as you choose.
-Power the camera using 24VAC, get a small 24vac to 12vdc adapter that you can put inside of a junction box or similar enclosure. Requires you run a cable to the ptz for 24vac and have a spot to put the 12v adapter.
