I have one with 16GB of ram and a 256GB Samsung Evo as the main drive. Was thinking about putting a 1TB WD black in there as the secondary drive for cam storage. Going to have one camera to start, maybe two eventually. The NUC isn't used for anything at the moment.
Can I use my Intel NUC i5 4250u?

it will work ...ensure to enable direct to disk and hardware acceleration...nucs are not ideal as they dont have a proper 3.5 drive for storage and are generally weak and over priced...but if you already have it, it wont hurt to try.
