Hi folks,

I'm trying to change the font size on my Hikvision camera (DS-2CD2325FWD-I) specifically to reduce the onscreen OSD text size. The camera is attached to a Hik NVR, and I have no problem logging into the camera directly via a PC that I've plugged into one of the NVR ports and configured to be part of the same subnet as the cameras.

I've gone in and changed things like frame rate; no problem.

But, when I try and change the OSD settings, I get a "parameter error" and nothing changes. Here's a screencap:

I have tried many combos of OSD size, color, alignment, mode, etc. I just want the "Mailbox" name, and the time/date to be smaller than the quite large current setting.

Any ideas how to get past this parameter error would be appreciated!

Thanks

Thanks guys I will look into it. The computer I can plug into the NVR is a Win10 tablet/laptop thing. Not sure it even has IE. But I will try poking more later. I was using Firefox.

Thee wrbcomponent never seems to work for me on anything in terms of viewing live feed. Seems outdated/deprecated or something .
