If anyone has a direct line to Hikvision and can let them know their doorbell wifi camera isn't sending push notifications when someone presses the doorbell, that would be great...Also, their servers seems to be buffering heavily with the video feed - when I watch the video feed internally, it's great...so I know it's their server(s).

Is it possible to receive push notifications from Hik-connect ( so from cloud ) for smart events like Line, pir , intrusion etc ?
I know it is possible for standard motion, which is very sensitive

I think Dahua is the brand you are looking for when talking about Push notifications. it is very fast, and minimum server problems.

It is possible - I tried it with Line and it worked with my Hik Connect App.

Yes, seems like intru and line are working ok. However, we cannot set to only receive intru and line , without completely disabling the motion detection ? ( which is not preferred , as it is used to capture video to sd card )

Hi all, still no feedback from support, sent them a reminder email today...
But I just noticed a updated ver of hik-connect has anyone tried as yet ?
All, I have an update, 2nd line support has come back to me to inform me that their R&D department has made a change on their servers, they have asked me to retest. Early days but so far so good, I’ve received notifications for everything so far. Can you see if this has fixed it for you and report back.

Hi, I'm a bit curious how you got them to update the cloud servers :) I found last year that Hik-Connect has very limited support for pushing alarms. I/O alarms for example, is not supported. I wonder why they have not implemented full alarm support for Hik-Connect. It sucks to have an external device triggering the I/O alarm and not having the possibility to push it to the mobile app.
