To all,

We have BlueIris setup at a 2nd home. While it doesn't happen often, from time to time the IP Address gets changed. Any recommendations for a tool that periodically looks at the WAN Address - and if it changes - can send an email/text/alert notifying us what the NEW IP is ?

Why hassle with this... Either set up a ddns service or use blue irises built in ddns Type function

This is built into Blue Iris Tools in the DDNS feature. Click "Enable IP Monitor Watchdog" in the DDNS section.

If your firewall supports dynamic DNS, that's the place to put it. Look up dyndns.org or a similar service.

Yup, totally recommend ddns, I use my ASUS router's built in DDNS but there are other free options such as duck DNS etc.

I personally use duckDNS to solve this issue for me, it works well.
