I am having trouble with the BI app when trying to access my BI server from a wifi Internet connection that is two doors down at my father-in-laws. It connects to BI but never loads any cameras, just sits there. If I turn wifi off and use cellular, it connects immediately. When I look in the BI log, it shows the users connections and the time, but 0 for frames. I checked the IP deny list and his IP is not on it. I have no other issues with accessing it from any other place, only his house and his wifi. Any suggestions ?

What port are you using? I'm wondering if something locally is getting blocked or overridden by another app. Can you connect to the web front end from a laptop on that wifi?

I have no issues connecting via any other method, be it from the web, through the app or locally on my LAN. It is just from that one location at my father in laws house when I am on his wifi.

Can you connect via the web browser at your father's house? I'm wondering if it's a firewall or port issue.

It does the same thing as the app, it connects, put in password, but never loads the cams. I can see the connections in the log as well.

Ok it definitely sound like a local routing or router firewall issue. Are you using HTTP, HTTPS and which port are you utilizing?
