I just installed a IPC-HFW81230E-Z.
The camera specs show:
20fps@12M(4000×3000),25/30fps@4K(3840×2160)

The drop down max value is stuck at 25.

I have played around with the Iframe value as well, but cannot get 30fps.
Anyone have ideas?

that is because you have PAL firmware installed....
regardless 25 fps is way more than you need and a waste of resources in almost all situations..

I was able to do it with my new IPC-HFW5231E-Z12E by setting the I Frames to 30.
That did not work with this camera. I just want fluent video, no chops. I have a massive serevr running Blue Iris, alot of CPU to spare.
Can I flash the firmware to US?

yes if you have the proper firmware...15 fps is more than fluent..its not just about the cpu, with a lower frame rate you can set the bitrate lower and store more..
