I bought a couple Dahua IPC A35 cams.

Just noticed on Silver sticker MAC addresses and Serial numbers are the same.

How is that even possible?

Next step to look in routers to see if this is true since cams are in 2 diff locations

Where did you get the cameras? If they truly have the same MAC address your going to have issues.

You will definitely need to find out if the cameras really do have the same MAC. But the sticker is just that, a sticker. I bought a couple of Dahua branded cameras off of AliExpress, and for two of them the sticker was just wrong.

Just checked router ...different Mac addresses and serial numbers but obviously same stickers were used on their inventory....strange.

Hi Hdtvjeff,

That is very odd.... wondering how many more with the same sticker are out there...

Yes indeed, I have another of those cams unopened, let's see soon if trend continues.

I purchased many dahua cameras from Aliexpress- box serial number tags don't always match chassis serial number tag, and some chassis tags didn't match firmware serial number tags. Hasn't been an issue but I suppose if I were ever going for a warranty repair, I would think it would be an issue.
