Im trying to set my pc up so that if I get a power cut it turns back on and goes into Win 10 and BI opens up again. I cant seem to set up taskschedular to do it. DO I need anything in BI enabled? thanks Also can this be done with a computer password set or does this need to be taken off.

read the threads on setting up task scheduler...you dont need to run as a service for this...you can leave the password (for things like remote desktop use) but you need to setup so that the pc will autologin (so locally it will be like no password)

But is there a reason not to have it run as a service?

Also make sure you go into your computer BIOS to change the autostartup on powerless option. This way when power is restored your computer will automatically turn back on
