Hello,

I tired searching, but there were not tutorials on how to set this up.
I am connected to the network remotely using OpenVPN
I can view the live camera feeds with gdmss.

In tinycam monitor free I setup a camera type as blue iris v4. I put in the IP address of the PC that blue iris is running on. I tried H.264, Snapshot, and Push. It never sees a connection(IE Secure Connection:no 0kb/s)

Is there something I have to setup on the Blue Iris program on PC to get this to work?

Edit: I added an account to BI and used the username and password. Still does not connect.
Edit2: It is now saying error 403 forbidden, but the camera status is ok
Edit3: I restarted BI and my phone. Using V1 instead of V4 I am getting 15KB/s and 100% dropped frames.
I am afraid if I spend $10 for the BI android app, that I will have the same issues.

Thank You,
Matt

If you are using a vpn, use the local LAN address in the external address spot on tinycam.

I'm sorry, I do not see an external address spot. I am using tinycam on android.
Scroll to bottom of camera settings in tinycam, click Advanced settings.

That did not help. If I have both set to my lan address it says "Camera Status ok" but 0KB/s

If I set hostname to my BI PC address and external address to LAN I get "Camera Status Failed"

Yes you do.
1. Options. Top left looks like a gear.
2. Users
3. Add

Change your WAN address in BI to your LAN address.

Yes, the remote and local ports should be the same. The channel number corresponds with the order the cameras were originally setup in BI.

Tinycam pro stopped working for me on this version of blue iris 4.7.3.0. It was working fine on previous version 4.7.2.4
