Hi,

The new cameras work like a charm and even though IVS is crazy good, they send me pictures of birds searching for worms so i need to set the target size. Problem is, I’ve searched high and low but cannot find these settings in the nvr?!
Do I need to hook the cameras up to a computer for that?

Thanks!

Yes, that setting (and others) can only be done in the cams.

Thanks @BillG

So the “target” setting in the nvr which lets me draw a set square, what’s that for? Makes no sense setting up a target within a defined intrusion area.

Thanks again!

Sorry, you can do that from the web gui, just not the nvr gui. In IVS click on min.size next to target filter. A tiny box should appear in the center of the pic. Resize that to something bigger than your birds.

If it's not a bird, eg a snake? If it's a tall bird? Why target size looks like square (rectangle) anyway? If my object is larger that one side of the rectangle but smaller than another - will it trigger? Does it matter then if my rectangle is tall or long?
