Dahua IVS tripwire emails

Is there anyway to reduce the number of emails the Dahua cameras send for an IVS trip event?

I have looked all over. Every time I get a tripwire event I'd like an email with a snapshot attached.

Currently I can one email that tells me when it started, one email when it has stopped and another email with the photo attached. 3 emails for each event. Certainly there must be a way to turn off the start and stop email?

Makes sense for something like loitering or parking event but 3 emails is necessary for a person crossing a tripwire.

I too was annoyed at the abundant emails. So I set up a gmail account just for the alarm emails. Then I set up a gmail filter which only forwards emails with an attachment. The email & snapshot are sent to my main email in-box.
So when the nvr or cam sends a snapshot (which is 90% of the time), I only get one email instead of 3.
I wish the email w/ snapshot was as dependable as the start and stop emails, which get sent 100% of the time.

Has anyone had a resolution to this ?.

I'm using a couple of 5231's from Andy with latest firmware and I get 2 emails per event. The first contains the attachments, the second has the TripwireStop message.

I'd like to only receive the email with attachments.

I did the same as @Fastb and set up filters in gMail (I created an account just for these emails). Other than the odd occasion where something gets through, I only see 1 email w/ attachment. Everything else goes directly to the trash.

You need 2 filters in your gMail:

For me personally it is a little too much inconsistent. Maybe I need to tweak my sensitivity settings or work on my (tripwire/intrusion) drawing skills. I don't know. Momentarily I re-think the option to go for external motion sensors. Might help to overcome these massive loads of emails.

If people switched because of this and have good experience please share. Thanks!

Had the same dilemma and I also just setup filters in outlook.
