what dose it say when you logon to hik-connect.com?
dose you router have uPnP enabled? ( if you have turned off uPnP you will have to open ports on your router ) you only need port 8000 for the ivms app
try the Hik connect app
Having open ports on your router my be a security risk ( just before anyone posts about open ports ) with ivms you would be more secure using a VPN

The device has been already added to a hik-connect account. That account is the owner/admin of the device, you can not add it to another account.
If it is a new unit, contact whoever sold it to you.
