Can you check IVS alarm video playback on iDMSS and also on regular Playback.

When the playback hit the IVS line in time slider, it loop back to beginning first time then when it hit IVS line second time, it loop back about 2-3 seconds again and keep looping back until it past the IVS line.

I don't know if new feature or a bug but I think very annoying!! Need fix or add option to disable loop back on IVS line

Thank you

We should make a thread with all the issues relating to iDMSS.

I have noticed this problem as well as (and more importantly in my opinion) the issue relating to alarm manager only showing the event when you slide open the notification. I’ve also noticed that if you skip a notification or two and open up a “third” notification instead it will not show the most recent event when you slide the next notification open from the lock screen - strangely it goes back to some other time.

I’m still attempting to problem solve this to figure out what is actually occurring.

Have the same issue, but for me it seems it does not loop, it changes between sub- and mainstream. It plays the main, when the event occurs it plays the sub stream from start, then it changes back to main, from where it changed to sub, then again sub and main, until video is over. I recognized it only by the text overlay…

@EMPIRETECANDY

I am also experiencing the same thing as @Crazykiller is experiencing.

Also other bug is when a notification like Camera 1 show up then I click on it but it play back recording from Camera 2 or 3 which is the wrong camera.

There are too many issues and bugs in this version iDMSS to describe or record a video to post in this thread. Tell Dahua that this version is the worse of all version I ever experience that the programmer broke it bad. I would recommend that they reserve it back to the previous version ASAP.

@Crazykiller
It hard to describe the loop but if you set Push Type to "video" then when you get a notification, it'll start playing the video about 10 second earlier of the trigger event. At the moment it hit the event line on the time line, it'll go back to the beginning of the timeline and play the video again but second time when it hit the event line and about 2 second after, it'll go back to the event line again and play the remaining of recording unless there another event line in the time line then it will jump back to the "last" event line and play again from there. Very stupid feature or bug .... It really annoys me very much.

Sounds like it does in my video. But in this example I only have an intrusion zone and the trigger is only hit once. Don’t know how it would behave with multiple triggers in one event.

The playback of the video seems to be wrong with the channel for you, because it seems the video you wanted to see by clicking the push notification is sorted to one line above bottom, but playback starts with the event of the top, which should normally be the newest one.
Also it’s annoying that they didn’t fix that you only get alarms in the list if you click the notification from the iOS Notification Center.
Also I still want iDMSS to start my vpn on demand like other apps do. Only iDMSS does not manage to trigger the vpn connection.

I updated iDMSS today to 4.01.000 and while the alarm manager still does not show all alarm events unless you open them from the notification center, the "double video" is fixed. I no longer see a repeat video when the IVS rules is triggered. It play continuously for me. Please see if this has been fixed for you as well. Hopefully Dahua will be able to fix the app to show all triggered IVS events in the alarm manager and not just the random ones that you select from the notification center.

Strangely this is not displayed on the updated info in the App Store. All I see is what is on the picture I've included.

For me it’s working too with the playback in the Alarmmanager.
The bug in the list, that you have to tap every event from the message center to get it into the alarms list is there for a long time. And there are a lot more bugs. Maybe we should really start a new topic where only the bugs are collected and updated in the first post as long as it is editable.
