Hi all

I have three cameras and I'm using Blue Iris to record on motion detection. All works nicely.

HOWEVER, when I access the cameras through the TinyCam Android app, it stops Blue Iris accessing the camera until I stop accessing through Android.

Anyone had a similar issue?

Any help would be very gratefully received.

Hi fenderman

I got it to work in the end...basically I had to have the channel number set to "1" on all cams. Otherwise, it forced the cam to switch to another channel INCLUDING the channel that BI was receiving. Very annoying. In the end I just bought the BI Android app as I think it's a better option. I can't get the video feed to work...so will post again :)

Thanks for the reply though :)

in blue iris (and i believe tiny cam as well) channels need to always be set to 1...setting it to 2 or other will pull a substream...(unless you are using an NVR and pulling a stream from the NVR)....most cameras can support simultaneous streams from two or more devices..

If they are all set to 1 in Tinycam, with same ip, and information, how are you supposed to get different streams. What is different in the cam setting so you know whixh camera you want?

I obviously misunderstood the thread haha. I have BI serving 6 cameras...
When I use Tinycam to access them on BI, I put the IP the BI server for each camera, but the channel I select in Tinycam is completely random 0-5.
In fact, if I rearrange the camera interface on BI, allllll the channels change on Tinycam, and nothing is labeled correctly.
