After updating last night to BI version 4.7.6.5 All cameras but one are NOT returning alerts anymore. It was working correctly on 4.7.6.4. The cameras are set to report DIO to BI on camera motion. This is not happening, any ideas.

The problem was not caused by the update directly. It was the restart of BI that showed the problem. If you have two camera definition for the same IP, the prime camera recording and the backup camera recording that have different setting. It appears that the last defined camera is the one that the settings are used from. My primary camera has the correct settings for motion detection, my backup camera settings have motion detection disabled. I deleted all the backup cameras and motion detection / alerts started working again.

I had the same problem on earlier versions. I emailed support. On the last update he added a new checkbox "Designated group master" on the Camera Video tab. This was supposed to keep this from happening, but it does not seem to work. When restarting BI it still seems to depend on which camera starts first. You don't have to delete the clone, only disable then enable it. As a more permanent solution I run an AutoHotkey Script on BI startup. It disables all my clones, then enables them.

My problem was caused my two camera definitions for the same ip with different processing settings. So I was not getting alerts. First I would reboot everything, then I would do a separate post with details and screen shots.

Two cameras with the same IP, one of them would be a clone. Only one pulls the stream. The one with the asterisk would be the clone. But it can change, so the following change to BI was made. (Even with this change I am still having problems)

What's new from Update 4.7.6 - June 6, 2018

You may designate a specific camera as the 'master' among a group of cameras pulling from the same source. Previously, the master could have been randomly any in the group.

Where in the software do I find this setting? Help file is no help.
