Anyone else have their CPU increase after the last update (4.7.6.6 x64)? I was running at 30-40% and now I'm at 80-100% CPU.

Nope, with 13 cameras my average CPU load is about the same as the previous version 20% (using an i7-4790 processor).

Ok, thanks for that, are you running BI as a service, it looks like that's what's using the CPU, even with no GUI up and running.

Ya, I've rebooted. I've been looking thru a bunch of threads on CPU and saw someone posted about the "limit decoding" box. I checked that an my CPU has dropped to 20-30% without the GUI running so now I'm trying to find more info on any downside to using that option, why it's not checked by default type stuff. Anyway, I'll leave it running like this for now, it was running sort of like when the 'direct to disk' option was off but it is on for all camera's so that's not it. Anyway, if others are not having the problem with this release then it there must be something with my settings I guess.

See the wiki (in the menu at the top of this forum) article on Optimizing Blue Iris's CPU usage. Down at the bottom of that, there are details about the Limit decoding option.

Ya, I read that but I need to read it a few more times, LOL. Also, I guess I'm not sure if my Dahua camera's support ("When enabled with a compatible camera") what it's talking about. I guess because it brought my CPU levels down to 'before update' levels my cameras must be working with it or I wouldn't see a CPU reduction.
