Annke cube wifi issue

So apparently the Annke camera cannot use apostrophe in SSIDs. I emailed support and looked in the help and they said to remove the character but I cannot get the cam to take my SSID. My LaView had this issue but a firmware update fixed it. I'm on the latest firmware in the Annke.

you can update the camera with hikvision firmware see thread.

I would like to but when I go to Maintenance > Upgrade > Firmware the browser button doesn't work and the text field cannot be selected

Have you tried using another browser to see if the upgrade firmware button will work?

I had to use IE ( shutters) and install a plug-in for it to work. This camera isn't compatible with modern browsers.

You have to use Internet explorer run as an administrator to get it to work

see the cliff notes in the IP cam talk wiki at the top of the page where this is detailed in the couple of pages I included for the camera.
