I have a nice automated home system with ELK M1 panel and ISY994i.
Mostly using zwave devices.

I am thinking of adding 4x POE cameras, but may issues tying them together.
I have a power line Ethernet system I am going to free up that is typically 20mbs. I think this should handle 2x 1080p cameras 4mb

Sounds like like you mostly need to get over your aversion to running Ethernet cables.

It's not clear what if any integration you hope to achieve between your home automation and cameras.
How do you plan on recording your cameras?

your powerline system at 20mbps sounds like its at the low end of the available options, or is it that it's a higher spec one that is not capable of more on your wiring? I'd say at that data rate you'd struggle. My AV1200 setup runs at >450mbps (up to 800+) and has 6 cameras going via it to the NVR which has a further 2 cameras on a switch local to it, along with file servers etc sending traffic too. You would probably find you need to upgrade the powerline, or run physical cabling to get the stability you need in the video streams. Don't opt for WiFi as that isn't usually reliable enough for continuous CCTV operation.
