Did you choose both streams to see the results?
Yes, main and sub. I know the camera works fine as the web browser and an eval version of Blue Iris show the streams.
I don't want to invest in an copy of Blue Iris or an NVR which I know also works based up on this thread. I am just going to list it in the classifieds and throw in the towel as I have tried for days to get this thing online. Thank you for trying guys.

SmartPSS should be able to detect how many channels exist for that particular camera model.
Although I originally had SmartPSS configured to an NVR instead of dedicated PoE Switch, but it should still work both ways, regardless
@looney2ns I had mine connected to a PoE Switch and also updated to the latest version of SmartPSS

Not for me. Remember this is Windows based Smart PSS not an NVR. See image

I'm assuming you're using a PoE injector or switch in order to power this camera. It doesn't use much power compared to the big PTZ models.
Try deleting the previous configuration and adding the camera again to your PC-NVR SmartPSS interface.

I am using a POE switch. I have already tried three different PC's with various versions of Smart PSS from old to the newest and no glory. Unit is listed now for sale in the classifieds. Thanks

I'm going to have to make a custom bracket for this cam. I have a 4" weatherproof box with a blank cover to temp mount this to for testing.

Any thoughts to using this outdoors under a covered overhang? For me in particular, I'd be using this under a covered porch (that has blockage of south/west facing, and exposure toward north/east with a >3 foot overhang). It'd be split between covering the floor of the door entrance and the pathway leading up to it.

"Dome cameras have more glare and IR reflection issues, as well as decay of the plastic dome due to long-term direct UV exposure. Turret / Eye ball form factor cameras are preferred."
- From the cliff notes.

Does anyone have video to show or highlight whether these exhibit IR/external light glaring issues due to the dome?

Look on page 1. Looney posted night videos. It will be fine under an overhang. Test mount first then final install once you're happy.

Yeah, I guess I didn't really see any obvious point sources for light in the night video samples- there's what appears to be light emanating from a window in the top right of the frame. Wish I could try one of these out before I buy but I guess the resale market means I won't take much of loss experimenting if it truly doesn't work out. In my case I have a porch light that comes on at night and ahead of the camera (but will try to keep it out of frame). Might make sense to use the larger focal length lens.

You can also use ipvm calculator to see your focal lengths.

It should be fine. Always test your proposed locations first for at least 24hrs, before final mounting.

If you look back to post #83 and #84 by @nymphaeles in this thread, you will see the way the cam is mounted.

As far as mounting the mounting the pfb203w to the pfa151, if the pre drilled holes are not correct, you can simply drill and tap the new holes.

After checking out the location where i planned on using it, I will not be using that particular setup as there's a light directly below where i was planning to mount it. Also the gutter drain runs down exactly where i need drill the holes for mounting.

I still plan to order at least one more of these units soon.
I can test it out and let you know the results.

Can we replace the lens by another for example 4mm on the left and 12 mm on the right ?

Finally got mine today. Using the NACL plugin to Chrome, I can only get one of the cameras to show anything. Both channels are detected in settings but I can't see anything in Live on channel 2. Any ideas?

Look on page 2.
Of this thread? I looked through and it looked like people had issue with getting channel 2 to show up with their respective NVR. I'm trying to get channel 2 to show up with the NACL chrome plugin.
