Lady backs into my truck

My truck was parked in front of my house overnight, lady felt like it was a good idea to back down the street and right into the side of it. Over $2000 in damage. And the truck is only 3 months old. Ugh.

Yikes. Over $2000 for that. I'm in the wrong business. Of course I always say that when I see the price of any service more expensive than a haircut.

No doubt, but auto repairs have never been cheap as long as I can remember. I haven't been around as long as many here though.

I don't think tariffs have a whole lot to do with repair costs. My son had some estimates for some work on his pickup and one of the items was the high center mounted stop light. $3 for a new bulb, and OVER $500 TO INSTALL IT!!! If I hadn't seen the actual invoice I would not have believed it.

But did they have to dismantle half of the back of the pickup to get to the bulb? Some are engineered this way.
