Hikvision suspended B2C business of its English version products since May 14th.
Now all of Hikvision English products are previous stocks of individual sellers.

I too am curious. Can’t seem to get good prices on hik cam since several months. That explains it.
Plus the lack of availability that comes with it makes it hard to purchase hikvision cam recently.
Any idea if this is permanent?

There are lots of ways to buy hikvision other than ali...including lts, BH etc..
How does Ali pricing compare to LTS, BH, etc.? I would assume the latter are much more expensive, yes/no?

Yes, all purchasing from China will be stopped by hikvision. They need protect their local distributor's high profit
When you say 'local', you mean protecting their 'overseas' / US distributors or?

They just killed all the online seller, Hikvision thought the low price selling ruined their distributors' sales profit. Future end users have to pay 100-150% higher price for hikvision.

Yes, that is correct. The distributors all over the world, esp in USA. They have the biggest market in North American.

Hi guys there are still several companies selling to end users. I just don't think its fair at all at the end user. How is it fair that you have to buy from a local installer who doesn't have knowledge about the product and will charge a ridiculous mark up for selling it to you.

No it's not 40 percent... regardless like I pointed out Hikvision is still available for the same price as before....or use dahua...

What's your current GBP end-user price for a DS-2CD2335FWD ?
The last one I bought off Aliexpress was £75, they are now 50% up on that.
