Multiple snapshots in email ?

On my SD1A203T-GN-W something I just can’t seem to figure out is how to recieve multiple snapshots in an single email, my foscam enabled me to have 3 pictures all with 1 second between them, this enabled me to tell if the person was coming or going or being able to see extra information such as a postal letter or package in their hand if it wasn’t in picture 1 as they walked, I could quickly discount them as a delivery man or something for dubious.

So far I only seem to be able recieve 1 photo in the email, is there anyway to change this to 3 or 5 photos ?

I also get two emails for each motion email
Alert, the first one with a photo the 2nd with no photo and a motion stop message, is there anyway to stop the 2nd one ?

Loving the camera quality in virtually zero light it’s so clear and the response over WiFi is great dispite lots of negative feedback on here that WiFi is a no go.

It’s extremly well built too and the water proofing and seal look excellent!

Yes that is par for course with dahua.

Simple solution would be to get an email that allows you to set filters. I have Xfinity and only allow mail with attachments through from my NVR.

I'd prefer not to set up an email filter as these sometimes block relevant emails ...so are you saying there is no way to get more than 1 snapshot photo at a time with a Dahau camera and also no way to stop the 2nd "motion stoped" email ?

Seems odd this isn't configurable ? Does the chinese firmware have more options ?

There is no other way. Like I said, If you only allow the email coming from your NVR with attachments it discards the others. For added piece of mind just have the ones without attachments sent to another folder and you can check to see if it is blocking relevant emails. I have not had any issues with mine.

I agree, it would be wonderful if they allowed the option of only sending emails with attachments through the NVR gui itself.

So I bypassed all of this in the end by installing Blue Iris...alot better configuration, millions of options plus as many snapshots as I like, plus a video if needed...better email setup options server support...takes a little bit of configuring but it's worth it to get the exact email alert that I need
