I am trying to setup custom PTZ commands for an unsupported camera. I am having trouble figuring out how to enter the command in Blue Iris.

Under Camera Properties, PTZ/Control, I have selected Network IP and *Custom HTTP*. I click the edit button which allows me to edit the command for Pan Left for example. I have to enter data /page?args and POST body fields. I am stuck at this point because I can't figure out how to put the command I want into those fields.

I can control Pan Left from browser with http://mycameraip/cgi-bin/action.cgi?cmd=motor_right

How do I enter that in *Custom HTTP* in /page?args and Post body fields?

BTW - I can assign presets with the http command above and it works, I just can't figure out how to get it in *Custom HTTP* settings.

Got it figured out. I set it up as discussed and illustrated here...

I must have had something setup wrong and conflicting, but it works now.

That link seems dead, can I ask you how did you configured that camera's PTZ?

Thanks in advance!

Update: I found the link but that configuration doesn't work for me, credential issues...i still have to find how to solve!

I fixed the link. What kind of error are you getting that indicates a credential issue?

thanks!
A have a Blue Iris limitation, which should be fixed in the upcoming update (the support replied this to me).
The dafang, with the latest firmware, uses the https protocol (and port 443) to receive PTZ commands, and BI can't be configured that way yet.
As far as i know, at the moment the only working way with the hacked firmware of the camera, is to go back to previous versions with http commands (non https).

Thanks anyway, msg me if you need!
