Hello! Cameras were installed last weekend and working fine. Mostly thanks to a few of you who helped. Couple random questions for you.

1. Computers need to be rebooted periodically. How often do I need to reboot this computer? Guessing weekly. (It's not on internet)
2. When I reboot the computer, how do I close BI without messing stuff up?
3. When I need to turn cameras back on after the reboot, how do I do it without messing stuff up?

4. Requires background. When everything was originally setup, all files were on D drive. Then I found and watched the videos that a user made, and changed settings so that the new files are on C, and the long term storage is on D. Somehow, I ended up with 3 bvr(? not in front of me) files in the New folder on drive D, so I copied and pasted them into the New folder on drive C. Now, in BI, the clips section shows 3 clips, but they don't play. I'm assuming they're the 3 I moved. How do I make everything happy?

1) No need to reboot, let it run.
2) set bi to run as service. See help file.
3) no need to do anything.
4) c: drive, nothing on it but bi, operating system, and bi database. Record everything to new folder, no need to be moving files.

In BI right click in the area where where your alerts and clips are displayed and select Database | Repair/Regenerate.
