Hikvision seller & questions

I came across this forum from another forum i'm part of and it was recommended to buy IP cameras from this seller on ebay as apparently hes active on these forums and sells quality English products? pchomeestore168 | eBay Stores


Also another question what do you guys do about getting water spots/rain spots on the camera lens while and after its raining as it effects image quality.

I'm not sure about the ebay seller, but I trust Nelly's Security (who is a featured vendor here on IPCT). Hands down. We've probably bought about $10k worth of a equipment over the last couple of years and always had top notch support -- and it's all English cameras.

As far as water spots, I don't really think there's anything you can do about it short of having the cameras mounted under an eave where it's shielded from the elements to a degree.

I have tried putting a high end sealant that I use on my car but it does not seem ot help to much as the water will dry on the lens and cause water spots.
