Then hit add camera in iVMS in the computer
The firm ware is 5.5.4 for this camera on the Europe web site under the consumer camera section

Update only gets as far as file transfer complete. I am not receiving the update process complete or whatever it is message. That's what makes me think maybe it wrong firmware.

If I try it in SADP I get device rejected, if I try it in ivms I get incorrect password.

Maybe the file, that you are sending to camera is bigger than 32mb, if so, you shoud use 64bit TFTP version.
Some time ago i used usb-uart to firmware the cam, and it was pretty easy. The cam accepts any kind of firmware, but it can't boot properly with wrong firmware.
Also with usb-uart you can see all mesages during upgrade process on the screen.
Also using usb-uart you can change the default TFTP address in camera to make the upgrade process more convinient.
