I am looking for an indoor camera that works with BlueIris. So I looked on Amazon for anything that supports ONVIF. I really don't have many requirements. It needs to work with BlueIris, allow turning around it's vertical axis by close to 180 degrees and ideally not be an eyesore. I don't need audio, local storage, night vision, etc but all the cameras come with it (no harm). Sometimes I might want to turn the camera manually but mostly it will be automated wherever there is motion. Most cameras I found are brands I have never heard off. Has anybody used the ones listed below? Or do you have any other recommendations.

Btw, I did read up a bit on ONVIF and it seems the 'free/public' version doesn't allow controlling the angle of the camera. Is this indeed the case? Or are there newer versions of the protocol that do allow it? If so, what's the minimum version required?

Here is the list of cameras:
WansView Q3-S
WansView K3
Utalent 1080P
UnionCam Q5

those are garbage...there are many threads on indoor cams...you dont need pan tilt...just put the camera in the corner to capture the entire room.

Ok, got it, they are garbage. After further consideration I actually prefer a PoE camera to reduce wire clutter. Plus if I use Ethernet I don't have to use the 2.4GHz network (which is my guest network). I could only find two cameras, i.e.HikVision Cube and the Amcrest ProHD. It seems people here like the HikVision but it only has an 85 degree angle. Are there other options with a wider angle so I don't need to use two cameras?

The cube is available in a 2.8 mm lens as well... However even with the 4mm, if you place it in the corner you should be able to capture the entire room

I am not quite sure how that is possible. The door for the backyard is, well, in the back. The door for the front is in the front (pretty much a straight line). I can't quite figure out where to put the camera so it covers both the door in the back and front. It's basically a 180 degree angle. Actually, the real position is a few feet set back (from the line that connects the front and back door). Hence, that will probably reduce the angle to maybe 150 degrees.

Then you need two cameras...a pan tilt camera cannot cover two doors at once either.

Ok, thanks. I saw that HikVision came out with a new version. I am considering the 2.8mm 4MP version DS-2CD2443G0-IS (there is also a 2MP and 6MP). However, I can't find them at any US reseller nor could I find any (cheaper) third party vendor selling them? Maybe I need to get it from a Chinese seller?

@EMPIRETECANDY can also quote you on a Dahua cube, I know he had the 3MP IPC-K35A for under $100, I dont know if you need top-notch night vision at your install location, if you do this camera would need to use IR.

When I was showing different options to the wife, the little mini dome (IPC-HDBW4231F-AS) was her favorite so you might want to look at that. If you truly don't want to use a fisheye lens could look at Dahua IPC-HDBW4231F-E2-M, which is still small and has two separately aim-able cameras. I don't see anything wrong with corner mounting (like to the ceiling but in a corner) something even like a Dahua IPC-HDW4231EM-ASE.

Andy can also get you a DS-2CD2435FWD-IW (Hikvision Cube with similar night vision to the Dahua Starlights). I've been pretty happy with mine. The cubes don't have a super strong WiFi antenna, but the PoE works great.
