Hi guys,

Does any one know what is and what causes the EVENT TYPE: HDD 9 Error?

From time to time 2 of my cameras send this status to my email and stops recording.
I have 1 hard driver plugged on my router and all 5 hikvision cameras record on this drive. Seems the partition of these 2 cameras gets messed and stops recording, no ideia what causes that and why it causes only with 2 cameras not all.

No, CAT5e cables with POE and the HD is connected with USB 3.0 on the router.
The cameras are:
- 4x DS-2CD2032-I
- 1x DS-2CD2035-I

possibly intermittent connection, either due to using external hard drive, or something with the routers disk utility timing out and the cameras are seeing a storage interruption (that's all just a guess).

Hopefully the router-connected-drive you are referring to isn't using ASUS AiDisk, or you have battened down the hatches on it. (ASUS Wireless router leaves USB Storage Devices vulnerable to remote attackers)

I'm using a Tp-link C3150 router, check the images in attach.
For some unkown reason it always happens with cams on sda4 and sda5.

One more thing, when it happens, I can only format the storage on hikvision app if i delete all folders first, otherwise I get error formating
