epoe vs poe question

if a camera say epoe in the description, do you have to use epoe or can you use poe if the run is not that long? If poe can be used, what is the cut off distance for the run?

You can just use regular PoE on a ePoE device if the run does not exceed the max of 300 ft.

It could do probably little more, if you use good quality cable.
