iOS Hik-Connect app keeps asking for my credentials

Has anyone noticed a change in the past few weeks? I'm running Hik-Connect V3.6.3 on iOS and haven't been prompted to login for at least a few days!
I think you’re right. It takes a little longer to connect when you open it but after, as far as I tested, no more prompt.
Release notes never mentioned any fix about that.

Not sure if this is still an issue for you guys, but have you guys done the port forwarding required in your router? Hikvision actually uses amazon servers to allow traffic to connect to their remote servers if the ports are not opened on the router. Hikvision pays for each bit of data that passes through these servers so they log you out after 5 min in order to make sure you didnt just leave your phone on and are not paying attention and charging them money. If the ports are correctly forwarded in your router, you should not be getting logged off.
That is great to know, I actually did not know that was the reason behind the 5 minute timeout.

Just a guess, maybe they just changed/removed whatever timeout they had on the app?

I use Android and I have never had to reenter my credentials on the Hik-connect app (but I switch accounts often, so it is not like I have been loged in with the same account for months).

I do not think having ports open/close would make a difference on the app loging you off.

I agree about the ports, nothing to do with it based on the tests I made...
Anyway, I'm happy now... I can live with a very small login delay ;)

Is anyone else having trouble logging in? I just updated to app version 3.6.5 on iOS and can no longer login. The email address and pw fields were still populated from before, but I get this error when I tap Login:

“Input a correct account or select a correct country/region.”
