Is Amcrest IP2M-853EW any good for $300 (Dahua SD49212T-HN)

There is a review on Amazon saying "Most Amcrest cameras are rebranded versions of cameras manufactured by Dahua Security. This camera looks like it may have the same internals as the Dahua SD49212T-HN.".

Is the $300 price okay or can I get a better Dahua PTZ for $300? Thanks in advance for any reply...

Hi @z_zk_z

Concur w/Andy - get 25x lens ( instead of 12x ) for only $30 more from him - sounds like a good deal on a good camera

Buy the Dahua brand, avoid Lorex, Amcrest, Swann, etc. These brands have full control over what is made available to their specific models. Its tailored to an entirely different market, commonly referred to as Noah's Ark

If you want all the features and best bang for the buck buy directly from the source, the manufacturer, Buy Dahua, This is not a paid-advertisement ;)
