Hello. I’m hoping to get some help on setting a remote user VPN on my UniFi USG to access my network. I have Blue Iris running on a PC and working well with my cameras as well as the BI mobile app on my iPhone for remote use (using port forwarding) on a single LAN. I have DDNS setup.
I've done some basic network security tasks … i.e. block the cameras from internet access and turn off UPnP. I’ve read the Wiki VPN Primer for Noobs (and fallen asleep a few times). 8)
My first questions:
I see the USG has the ability to hardwire 2 LANs. Should I setup the second USG LAN for just my BI server and cameras? I have a POE switch dedicated for the cameras.
What firewall changes should I make for the 2nd LAN (if any)?
