Hey all,

I'm having difficulty connecting this intercom to my Voip provider via SIP.

I've purchased the VTO2101E-P as a standalone unit, with the intention of having it connect to my Voip provider over the internet. So that when the button is pressed, a phone call is made out to my mobile phone via the Voip provider, which the intercom is connecting via SIP.

I'm having difficulties working out which fields to populate and what data needs to be filled (and what needs to be left blank).

If anyone could be of assistance, that would be greatly appreciated. If I have absolutely misunderstood the capabilities of this unit, let me know also.

I've set up 3 other Dahua cameras, just fine. But this intercom unit is based off a different firmware format, and I'm not getting anywhere.

Thanks!

Are you sure u want to connect this device directly to a internet SIP provider? Due to security reasons I would never do this. I run my VTOs on a local asterisk server.

Yes, but more secure (VPN). Do you want any script kiddies to control the access to your house?
Anyhow, don't let any chinese "security/smart home/camera/..." device directly out to the internet at all - you never know what they do!
There is always a more secure way.
