I have a DS-2CD4212FWD-IZD with an internal slot. The spec sheet says it is a micro SD/SDHC/SDXC up to 128G.
Can anybody recommend a specific card that plays well with hikvision? BestBuy has the Samsung - EVO Plus 64GB microSDXC UHS-I (30mbs sustained) for $20

Thanks!

test all SD cards. There are a huge number of fakes, even in the correct packaging.
Always use H2TESTW program to test the SD card before use. It is an old program but works great.

Thank You SYankee!, I will but I will have to use a different app as H2TestW seems to be a Windows only tool. It looks like something called F3 was inspired by H2TestW but is for the mac. Another one is SDSpeed, but I have not tried either yet.

Try SanDisk or Transcend High Endurance model microSD cards (MLC type). TLC cards won't last and usually void warranty if used for surveillance cam (or dascam).
