Very nice :)

A question about this model which is a bullet .

In term of power of Infrared led do you think this model a much IR power than IPC-HDW5231R-ZE ?

Thanks for your reply :)

On datasheets IPC-HDW5231R-ZE and HFW5231E-ZE have same IR power ...

No data to back it up, but Yes I think the bullet with the 4 LED's is much more powerful IR

The data sheets are frequently wrong.

Its been a while so I drove down the street to take a look ;)
(You can't hit the cameras through the PoE NVR interface from outside of the network, so I drive down to the NVR and log in via WiFi)

So daytime settings are pretty easy on most decent 2MP+ cameras.
Daytime on both: Exposure Auto, DNR 25, WDR 20 (just a little WDR goes a long way)

Night gets trickier. Remember when forcing color at night, differences in ambient light, speed of vehicles, can make a huge difference so your mileage may vary.
Ive played with a number of settings, mostly around Exp 1/30 and DNR at 50, NO WDR at night, creates blur.
Tonight I'm experimenting with the settings shown. Not that big a difference really...Both use a backlight setting of HLC= 60 or 70

And here are short clips with those settings:
(Dont forget to switch youtube player to 1080p)

Why do you choose HLC? Is it due to the street lights or car headlights being too bright?
