Does anyone else get loads of noise on the night vision when gain is only up to 40%? I am very disappoint with the night vision on this and expected something similar to my starlight cams.

Thanks

You cant expect starlight performance from a non starlight sensor.

Why? It's a completely different sensor.
Fully understand on it being a different sensor but my experience with Dahua been excellent maybe because i had the starlight camera and thought night vision on this would be good too. I agree they are different sensor and altogether a different product and not aimed at being a CCTV Cam but just a door bell.

The fact that its the same brand is meaningless. A Corolla cannot get through a foot of snow but a tundra can. Both are toyotas. Dahua CCTV cams with the same crappy sensors will perform the same way. MOST cameras by dahua and all others dont perform well in low light. That is why there is a specialty line with this specific purpose.
