Hello,

I am using the Dahua NVR POE version and using the internal built in IP address for the cameras.

I am seeing a weird issue but not able to see why this keeps happening.

I am seeing below firewall logs every 10 seconds and cant figure out why the NVR local switch would be trying this.

10.1.1.10 (source) 10.1.1.80 (destination) ICMP

10.1.1.80 does not respond to ICMP but wondering why it keeps doing this?

Any ideas?

Did you used to have a camera on that address?
I know that Hikvision NVRs regularly probe for cameras that have been defined but are no longer in use.

Hmmm possibly as I have always used internal switch and I believe it might have allocated that IP earlier. Makes sense now if you seen that before with other NVRs

Thanks
