VTO2000 / VTH1550

Hey Guys,

I mounted 2 separate "Dahua Villa IP intercom VTO2000 / VTH1550" combo's in 2 different buildings on different locations.
I managed to get the push notification running. So when there is someone at the doorstation and pushes the doorbel on the VTO2000, the push notification shows up and I know there is someone at the door. I can even unlock the door in the app. Works just fine. But the problem is: When getting the push notification, there is no image in the app. Not live image and also no recorded image. The indoorstation VTH1550 works perfectly fine and shows the live feed very well.

I have lots of Dahua stuff at my house, all of which uses push notifications just fine, including the live feeds from the cams / NVR's.

So now I bought a new set for test use at my home so I can tackle this problem before going to my two clients which of course want to use the set including the live feed.

Anyone have a clue?

Update:

The live image does not work, but the live audio does work! I can talk back to the VTO, the only thing that doesn't work is the video feed. The VTO is added in the "doorstation section" in iDMSS.

When I add the VTO to the "camera section" in iDMSS, the live videofeed does work very well, but the door unlock function is not available, and the two way video function also doesn't work. Therefore I expect there is something wrong with the app, and not with the equipment.

Is there anyone who does have an image on the live feed in de doorstation section with a VTO??

SOLVED:

When using a password larger then 8 characters, you can connect to the VTO with the iDMSS app, but it won’t show the video image. Use less then 8 characters and the video image will show..

Wow - I don't even know how you figured that out?

Im having trouble with my getting the audio from my VTO6210B to my VTH1550CH. It was all working then I upgraded the firmware on my VTO to try and get the iDMSS working. Audio from the VTO stopped working after that. Replaced the VTO with a new one, same problem. VTO is running firmware v3.1 and the VTH are running firware v1.0 and I was unable to work out how to upgrade the FW. Does anyone have any suggestions?

i think you should unselect group call!?

It is a nice thing to see more people use these units.
Maybe @redfive can help out since he tackled a couple hickups.

Thanks Sar, Just tried it - only the master is ringing. I have 2 other monitors. Works correctly though with just the master.

Can anyone suggest why the it works fine with just the master - no group call selected, then when I select group call, the audio from the VTO doesn't work but the 2 extension monitors ring.

on the app you also have the option for "audio only" ... is that option not selected ?
In that case you would only have audio, no picture ...

Does this have onvif capability for me to record to my NVR or is it only working on the app?
