Starlight or 4k?

Attached is a pic of my backyard. I'm thinking of attaching a camera to the soffit closest to me and aiming the camera toward the ground near the light. There's a gate there.

The light can be aimed/changed as needed. So, the question is, do you think a 4k cam would be able to get a quality image at night of anyone coming through the gate, or should I go with a Starlight?

I’d think that a varifocal Starlight zoomed in tight on the gate would do better at night than a 4K.

Remember that getting motion with the least amount of blur of what’s going to be the hard part. Video of when nothing is moving is prob going to look decent on both.
