Hi,
I would like to use about eight Dahua HDW4433C-A cameras at different locations and record everything with Iris. Only the server location has static IP, the other locations don't. Internet speeds are around 10/1 to 10/2 Mbits, server has 100/50Mbits.
Is that possible, what issues can I expect?

I would assume it is possible but the quality isn't going to be very good with those upload speeds the cameras will have access to.

The address need to be static for BI to communicate with the cameras, you will need to set up multiple site-to-site VPN connections.

There may be other solutions. You need to provided a detailed network topology

Thats a little complicated. Is it also required to set up port forwarding?

In all cases the IP camera is behind a modem/router. One case has 4G Mobile router, other is old ADSL modem, which has router connected to it, the third is also ADSL at the moment but we will switch to 4G Mobile Router. The server is Fiber-Optic Internet and a router connected to the modem.

The more I think about it, it may be more reliable if cameras record to a 128GB microSD card and I can FTP to them when needed (but this model doesn't suport microSD).

It is complicated, thinking in simple terms the server needs to be able to talk to the camera at each of the locations. Although it sounds complicated once you have set one site up then it should be a similar setup for the others so get one working and then repeat.
